Most Long Island carpet cleaners price by the room or by the square foot. Our carpet cleaning starts at $119 for one room of any size. Stairs, hallways, pet odor treatment and protector are priced on the walk-through, and you approve the price before we start.
What affects the price
The number of rooms and stairs, how dirty the carpet is, pet urine that needs enzyme treatment and pad extraction, and whether furniture needs moving. Very large rooms and open floor plans may be priced by square foot instead of per room.
Watch out for bait-and-switch
Very low advertised prices, like a whole house for a tiny amount, often turn into upsells once the crew arrives: "pre-treatment", "deodorizer" and "heavy soil" charges that weren't mentioned on the phone. Ask what the price includes and get it confirmed before the machine is turned on.
What a fair quote looks like
A fair quote names the rooms and areas, says whether pre-treatment and spot removal are included, lists any extras like stairs or pet treatment, and tells you roughly how long drying will take. If a company won't give you a price until the machine is running, keep looking.
