Most microfiber is polyester with an S code, meaning solvent only. Water leaves rings and a stiff, blotchy look. That is why wiping a spill with water often makes it worse.
How we clean it
We check the code, pre-treat stains and body-oil areas, clean with a dry solvent, and brush the nap so it dries soft and even. W-code microfiber can be cleaned with low moisture instead.
