In-home cleaning
Most area rugs take 20 to 45 minutes to clean in place and a few hours to dry, depending on thickness and airflow.
Off-site washing
A full wash usually takes one to two weeks from pickup to return. Dusting, washing, rinsing and slow flat drying can't be rushed without risking the rug.
How to help it dry faster
Run the AC or a fan, keep the room ventilated, and don't put furniture back on a damp rug. We put protective pads under furniture legs if something has to go back right away. Thick wool rugs dry slower than thin synthetic ones, especially in humid summer weather.
What adds time
Urine treatment, thick wool pile, humid weather, fringe work and repairs.
